Dial Number Directly from the MMI system. Note: Signal Strenghth and Bluetooth symbol next to the time. 

Look up Phonebook, Missed calls, Received Calls and Dialed Numbers. Voice activated dialing is also included If you have a MFSW.

Make Full use of the Audi Bluetooth with a MFSW. All functions above can also be controlled by the Multi function wheel.  This works very well.

All Genuine Audi Bluetooth Kits Come with Basic SDS. Please note: On Earlier Models with MMi System software update may be required.

 Press the speak button to save names to phone book,  i.e press speech button say  " Store Name", you will then be prompted for name, say "John"  then say phone number..." 0208 .... etc"  then say " Save".  The number will now be saved for use with the Speak Button. Simple press speech button, say " select name" ie " John" you will then have the name repeated back to you. Then say " Dial" . The voice recognition is also very good at understanding you.  This is the SDS Basic Function, For SDS High Please see demonstration video to the left. 

Note: If you press the " Mode" button on the MFSW it will change the centre dispaly from " Radio 1" for example to your "phone book" via bluetooth. You can then use the left scroll button to scroll through all the names on you phone and click the left scroll button to Dial / Hang up. If you look closly at the picture above you can see the name " Richard Uncle" on the top of the Driver Information System.  Simply Press the left scroll button to call this number.
